Now Enrolling for SOAR SUMMER SESSION 2017!!!

Wow!!! Can you believe we are now at the end of another school year? Time has went so quickly this year. I am so, so proud of all of my students and the tremendous gains we have made this year! Thank you all for your determination and commitment! You are the faces of Reach for the Stars Tutoring and I could not be more proud!

Please remember that SOAR (Summer Session) is one of the busiest times at Reach for the Stars Tutoring. If you are a current student and haven't checked in with Miss Brooke about what days/times you will need for summer, please do so as soon as possible. Each day, new enrollment applications are coming in.

I am also taking pre-enrollments for Fall Session. Current students will get priority sign-up.

Keep up the hard work Star Students and don't forget to keep those skills sharp over the summer! We don't want to lose the gains we have made together.

STAR STUDENT SUCCESS

"Madison" began receiving tutoring from Reach for the Stars in 2013 when she was in first grade. In the beginning, "Madison" really struggled with knowing her sounds and reading. She is now beginning third grade and is an excellent reader. "Madison's" parents were so pleased with how she was improving in school that they decided to be one, of the many, "Comprehensive Curriculum" students at Reach for the Stars. "Comprehensive Curriculum" students attend between 2-4 tutoring sessions per week and are working toward higher level skills. For example, "Madison" attends 3rd grade at a public school, but because of her abilities she is now working on 4th grade level work in most subject areas. "Comprehensive Curriculum" students must meet strict criteria for this advanced coursework. Congratulations "Madison" for being a STAR STUDENT SUCCESS!!

CHARITY OF THE MONTH:

Reach for the Stars Tutoring is a Christian based company that is dedicated to giving back to those who are suffering. Each month, 10% of all sales will be sent to an organization called US Dream Academy. US Dream Academy is a non-profit organization that provides tutoring and additional programs to children who are poor and either have a parent who is incarcerated or was incarcerated. Statistically, children who have a parent who is incarcerated or was incarcerated are up to 80% more likely to repeat that same pattern. US Dream Academy is working hard to reduce those outcomes. As a believer in Christ, all we have really belongs to the Lord. I encourage each of you to seek God's will for where He is calling you to give, whether it is of your finances, your time, or both.
