STAR STUDENT SUCCESS

"Madison" began receiving tutoring from Reach for the Stars in 2013 when she was in first grade. In the beginning, "Madison" really struggled with knowing her sounds and reading. She is now beginning third grade and is an excellent reader. "Madison's" parents were so pleased with how she was improving in school that they decided to be one, of the many, "Comprehensive Curriculum" students at Reach for the Stars. "Comprehensive Curriculum" students attend between 2-4 tutoring sessions per week and are working toward higher level skills. For example, "Madison" attends 3rd grade at a public school, but because of her abilities she is now working on 4th grade level work in most subject areas. "Comprehensive Curriculum" students must meet strict criteria for this advanced coursework. Congratulations "Madison" for being a STAR STUDENT SUCCESS!!

CHARITY OF THE MONTH:

Reach for the Stars Tutoring is a Christian based company that is dedicated to giving back to those who are suffering. Each month, 10% of all sales will be sent to an organization called US Dream Academy. US Dream Academy is a non-profit organization that provides tutoring and additional programs to children who are poor and either have a parent who is incarcerated or was incarcerated. Statistically, children who have a parent who is incarcerated or was incarcerated are up to 80% more likely to repeat that same pattern. US Dream Academy is working hard to reduce those outcomes. As a believer in Christ, all we have really belongs to the Lord. I encourage each of you to seek God's will for where He is calling you to give, whether it is of your finances, your time, or both.
